威斯康辛大学曼迪逊分校是1848年成立的，简称为WISC-Madison，大型公立大学(全校有4万一千多名学生喔!)，有相当多的学院与课程，在曼迪逊共有一千亩的校地，该校以理科，商科高等教育闻名全美，曼迪逊是威斯康星州的艺术重镇之一，校内有著名的艾尔夫彦艺术博物馆Elvehijem Museum of Art，还有麦迪逊当代艺术博物馆Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (http://www.mmoca.org/)

-Business:Arts Administration艺术管理(是MBA学位喔!)
-Communication Arts / FILM(专攻在电影类的沟通艺术)提供学位是MA,特别的是还有PhD呢!很少看到这个学位有PhD啊!
-Creative Writing
-Design Studies (see Human Ecology )此设计研究着重在环境,质感和设计三大方面,简称为SoHE,提供了MS, MFA, PhD的学位,这也是相当特别,很少看到这个主修有PhD的!
-Landscape Architecture景观建筑,提供学位是MA, MS
-Art纯艺术,这个系上提供很多主修喔!主要分成Art Education, Graphic, 2D, 3D四大类别

Graphic类里叙述是这样的, The graphics program consists of courses in printmaking, paper making, photography, and graphic design,并有这些专业课程,如Relief Printing, Serigraphy, Etching/Intaglio, Lithography, Production Techniques (Offset Lithography), Graphic Design and Typography, Photography, Paper Making

2D里有Painting/Drawing, Computer-Mediated Art

3D里有Sculpture, Woodworking and Furniture Design, Ceramics, Glass, Jewelry and Metalsmithing, Non-Static Forms
